Paediatrics is the branch of science that provides preventive health services, diagnosis and treatment for all children from birth to 18 years of age. It includes paediatric surgery, paediatric haematology, paediatric nephrology, paediatric gastroenterology, paediatric rheumatology, paediatric cardiology, paediatric endocrinology, child and adolescent psychiatry, paediatric immunology and allergy diseases, and paediatric oncology.
